Knight Industrial was formed in February of 2012 by Matt McCafferty, after working with Foothill Industrial for 16 years. Foothill was an installer for Cannon from 1985 until 2020.Matt McCafferty is third generation dairyman millwright, and worked for a Dean Foods Creamery for five years in Hayward California. Matt’s responsibilities with that creamery was the management of the Ammonia Refrigeration system, the Waste Water management, Air Compressors, Boilers, and general maintenance on all creamery equipment. Matt was trained and certified in HASWOPR response, as well as programming and controls. Matt had 17 years of direct contract service with Cannon Equipment prior to their closing in 2020. Matt was contracted to perform preventative maintenance, service and installation for Cannon for Cannon’s customer onsite visits. Knight has established business relationships with multiple industries, including wine, beer, soda, butter, fluid milk, potato, bread, bread crumb, tortilla, cheese, powder products, and other industries.
